Sage Intacct 2024 R3 Update

The third Sage Intacct update of 2024 has been officially released and is now available for use. After reviewing the Sage Intacct 2024 R3 update, we have compiled a summary of the key highlights. In this release, several new and improved features are available, particularly in Accounts Payable and Workflows. Here is a breakdown:

Un-apply AP Credits in Posted payments

• You can un-apply advances and debit memo adjustments that were applied without an accompanying payment.

How it works​

Un-apply a credit applied without accompanying payment​

1. Go to Accounts Payable > All > Payments > Posted payments.​
2. Select Unapply next to the credit.​
3. In Void the payment on date, enter the date when you want to remove the credit.​
4. Optionally, enter a Memo to describe the reason.​
5. Select Submit.​

Un-apply a credit applied at the same time as a payment​

To remove a credit that you applied alongside a payment, you need to void the payment.​

1. Go to Accounts Payable > All > Payments > Posted payments.​
2. Filter the columns to find the payment you want to void.
3. Select Void next to the payment that includes the credit.​
4. Enter a Void the payment on date.​
5. Optionally, enter a Memo to describe the reason for voiding the transaction.
6. Select Submit.​

Reverse an applied credit​

1. Un-apply the credit from Posted payments.​
2. Reverse the credit, provided it has not been applied to any other AP purchase invoices. Where you reverse the credit depends on the type of credit.​
3. Debit memo adjustments: Reverse the credit from the AP Adjustments list​
4. Negative AP purchase invoices: Reverse or delete the AP purchase invoice from the AP purchase invoices list.​
5. Advances: Void the prepaid advance from the AP Advances list​
6. Void a payment directly from the Posted payments page​

Originating document workflow PO and OE​

• Order entry > All > Transactions ​
• Locate and click view:​
• In the Entries table select a line-item row then select Show details:​

If this is the original transaction in the workflow, the Originating document ID field is blank.​

If this is the second transaction in the workflow, the Originating document ID displays the initial transaction ID (the same ID displays in the Source document ID field).​

If this is a document in the workflow with more than 2 conversions, the Originating document ID displays the initial transaction ID (the Source document ID displays the last conversion document ID).​
