FOD Mobility Case Study

FOD Mobility is a leading UK fleet management provider, offering a complete range of fleet solutions to help organisations run their company vehicles. Their core offerings are vehicle leasing, daily rental, maintenance management, duty of care programs and accident management.

Requirements

Due to high volumes of transactions, Sage 50 was experiencing performance issues. FOD Mobility not only found that Sage 50 would often hang and eventually crash, but that they experienced data corruption meaning data needed to be reprocessed. This motivated the upgrade as the risk to the business of losing data was too great.

Solution

FOD Mobility was advised by Sage to contact Dayta when they called in to the Sage 50 helpline about their corrupt data in their Sage System.

Sage 200 is built on a Microsoft SQL Server database, which can handle a large volume of transactions and minimises the risk of data corruption. Since using Sage 200, the performance has greatly improved and it is a scalable solution.
